Mulholand Material Generalists ("MMG", "we") is an independent publication operated by an individual publisher based in Arkansas, United States. Questions about this policy or about data associated with you can be sent to contact@mulholandmaterial.com.
MMG is designed to collect as little personal information as practical. There are no user accounts, no newsletter signup, and no checkout. Articles have an optional comment section, described below. The site uses hosting and third-party advertising as described below.
Hosting and traffic measurement
Hosting and analytics providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser or device information, request data and aggregate usage events when necessary to deliver the site, protect it from abuse and understand site traffic.
Advertising
The site may use third-party advertising services, including Google AdSense. When advertising code is enabled, Google and other advertising vendors may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or similar identifiers to serve, limit, personalize and measure ads. Google and its partners may use advertising cookies to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites. Google explains how it uses advertising data here.
Users can control or opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. If advertising is enabled for visitors in jurisdictions that require consent, the site will provide the applicable consent controls.
Comments
Articles may have a comment section. Commenting is optional. If you post a comment, we collect the name and message text you submit, along with the time of submission. An email address is not requested and is not stored.
Comment submissions are checked by Cloudflare Turnstile to confirm they come from a person rather than automated software. As part of that check, Turnstile may process technical signals such as your IP address and browser characteristics; this happens as part of verification and is not stored alongside your comment. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for how Cloudflare handles this.
Comments flagged as likely spam by automated filters are held for review before appearing publicly; other comments appear immediately. Posted comments are public and visible to anyone who visits the page. To request that a comment be removed, email contact@mulholandmaterial.com with a link to it.
Information we do not collect
Outside of the comment system described above, MMG does not operate user accounts, a newsletter, a contact form, or any payment processing. We do not ask you for your email address, phone number or payment details anywhere on this site. If you choose to email us, we receive whatever you send in that email and use it only to reply to you.
Please do not send private, financial, medical or other sensitive personal information by email.
Cookies
MMG does not set its own tracking cookies. Cookies or similar technology that appear on this site are set by third-party services described above — primarily advertising vendors, and Cloudflare Turnstile when you submit a comment. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings; doing so does not prevent you from reading anything here, though it may prevent posting a comment.
Children
This site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. This applies to comments as well: if we become aware that a child under 13 has submitted a comment containing personal information, we will remove it.
Your choices
You can opt out of personalized advertising through the Google link above and through the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out tool. To ask what information may be associated with you, or to request deletion, email contact@mulholandmaterial.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated when the site materially changes how it collects, uses or shares data, including when new advertising, newsletter, payment, account or tracking features are activated.
